As Kawien Ziedses des Plantes, Oikocredit’s Global Social Performance Specialist said, "It’s about accountability, are we doing what we say we do? It’s also about improvement, can we improve on what we are doing? And it’s about transparency, showing the detail behind the numbers.”
The Impact Report describes information and stories from partners and clients up to and including December 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Together with her son and others, she strings the flowers together to make garlands that are put up daily in shops and are used for worship in temples. She has been a client of Annapurna Mahila Coop Credit Society for 15 years. She is now in her 11th loan cycle of around € 1,500. Vaishadi’s husband died in 2016 and they had owned two shops. After he died, she rented out the second shop. The income from selling flower garlands has made it possible for her to pay for the education of her son and daughter. She has also bought a flat and a plot of land. From August to December is the high season for her business, because of religious festivals like Diwali.
